Brandos' Golden Moment

4 year old Chestnut colt Brando (x Pivotal) trained by Kevin Ryan and owned by Mrs Angie Bailey, brightens up his form after winning the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup (Heritage Handicap) under regular jockey Tom Eaves priced at 11/1, beating the favourite, Growl (4/1) trained by Richard Fahey by a comfortable 1 1/4 lengths. Brando has therefore redeemed himself after a disappointing 9th place in the Coolmore Nunthrope Stakes G1 and his 2nd behind Mecca's Angel in the Kilfrush Stud Sapphire Stakes G2.
