Australian Group 1 Gelding Retires

It has recently been declared that the 9 year old Australian-bred gelding, Buffering (Mossman by Action Annie) is being retired after running his last race yesterday at Moonee Valley where he weakened to finished 6th under regular jockey Damian Browne.

2016 Al Quoz Sprint reigning champion and multiple Group 1 winner trained by Robert Heathcote, since he was a yearling, has made an international impact competing in races in Hong Kong, Sha Tin Racecourse in the Chairman's Sprint Prize Group 1 finishing 6th and Dubai at Meydan Racecourse in the Al Quoz Sprint Group 1 when he left causing a scene after beating HH Sheikh Hamdan's champion sprinter, Ertijaal (IRE), as well as dominating numerous racecourses around Australia, accumulating a profit of over $ 7,000,000 in career earnings alone. A placing strike rate of 67% has proven himself to race goers and punters and should surely make his syndicate of owners who purchased him for a mere $22,000, proud beyond belief.
