Postponed suffers stress fracture

HH Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum's Postponed (x Dubawi) trained by Roger Varian is forced to retire to stud after a 5 year racing career due to suffering a stress fracture in one of his legs.
Mid-September of 2015, Sheikh Mohammed Obaid caused a controversial uproar moving all of his horses, including Postponed who'd previously won the Qatar Prix Foy Group 2 in Longchamp, from Luca Cumani's Bedford House Stables to Roger Varian's base in Newmarket. The Carlburg Stables Team have not been disappointed with Postponed- winning four of his eight starts and Varian describing the horse as "a pleasure and a privilege" to have trained.
Earning a total of nearly £5,000,000 and winning 4 Group 1's under regular jockey Andre Atzeni including the Dubai Sheema Classic, Juddmonte International, King George VI and Coronation Cup, the 6 year old has no doubt had a successful career and doesn't owe connections anything more.
