'The World's Fastest Racehorse'

The HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum owned 4 year old, Battaash, trained by Charlie Hills makes the Group 2 King George Stakes his victory for the second consecutive year at the Glorious Goodwood Festival this time winning 5 furlongs in an impressive 56 seconds by a four length margin.

Last seen finishing second to Godolphins' Blue Point at Royal Ascot in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes, the son of Dark Angel showed a depth of talent after beating rivals such as Havana Grey trained by Karl Burke, Katchy trained by Tom Dascombe and Aidan O'Briens' Sioux Nation. The gelding is even considered 'the fastest racehorse in the world' at the moment.

Charlie Hills reveals will be aimed at the Group 1 Coolmore Nunthrope Stakes at York (24/08/18), ante post betting already have Battaashed prices at 11/10 to win. Could also possibly go for the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend or defend his crown in Longchamp in the Qatar Prix de L'Abbaye, depending on his form closer to the meetings.
